North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) operating in all the eight North Eastern States for generation of Hydro and Thermal Power having ambitious plans to harness the vast power potential of the region in the coming years invites applications from eligible candidates for the following post.

Experience: Preferably 1-2 years in the line either in the executive or in the senior supervisory level in Central/State Undertakings/ Autonomous bodies or large Industrial Organizations dealing with Corporate Laws, other Statutory and Non-Statutory Secretarial matters etc. In depth knowledge of SEBI/Stock Exchange compliance is desirable.	30 years

* After successful completion of training period of one year, the incumbent concerned will be placed in the scale of pay of Rs. 10,750 – 16,750/- (IDA).   The scale of pay is due for revision w.e.f 01-01-2007.

GENERAL  

i)  Preference will be given to those having experience in Power Sector and Computer literate.

ii) There shall be age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH etc as per Government of India directives.

iii)  Management reserves the right to enhance/reduce the minimum qualification / experience criteria indicated and to call only those candidates who rank high from amongst applications received and mere fulfilment of eligibility criteria will not confer any right for being called for interview.

iv) Management has the right to increase or not to fill up the post at its discretion.

v) Candidates working in State/Central Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or submit “No Objection Certificate”.

vi) Travelling Allowance will be paid to out-station candidates for attending interview as per rules of the Corporation.

vii) Any dispute arising in this connection will be subject to jurisdiction of Shillong.

IX) Application should be sent well in advance and only through Post/Courier Service and will not be received by hand. Corporation will not be responsible in any way for non/late receipt/delivery by Postal Department/Courier Service. Interim queries will not be entertained.

X) Experience will be counted as on the last date of receipt of application.

XI) Candidates possessing the above stated qualifications only need apply.

XIII) Applications must be accompanied with non-refundable crossed Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only ( Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for SC/ST candidates) drawn on a nationalized Bank in favour of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd. and payable at Shillong .

XIV)Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

XV) Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
