EXECUTIVES

 

1. House Rent Allowance

House Rent Allowance will be payable w.e.f. 01.08.99, on revised pay, without ceiling, at the following rates.

2. House Rent Recovery

The effective date of the revised house rent recovery will be w.e.f. 01.08.1999 as decided by Govt. of India. For the period upto 31.07.1999, the house rent recovery will continue to be at existing rates/pay structures.

 

3. City Compensatory Allowance

City Compensatory Allowance will be revised and payable at the rates given in the table below, with effect from 01.08.1997.

Classification of cities, other terms and conditions and certificates for payment of HRA/CCA shall be the same as per Govt. of India's order issued on the subject.

 

4. Non-practising Allowance

Non-practising Allowance will be paid to the medical doctors of the Corporation at the revised rate of 20% of the Basic Pay per month with effect from 02.04.04.
The Non-practising Allowance at the revised rates would be admissible only in respect of those medical posts for which a medical classification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or under the Dentists Act, 1948 has been prescribed as an essential qualification and to which the allowance is attached at present
The NPA will not count for any other purpose.

5. Night Shift Allowance

Executives who are rostered and attend duty in night shift will be paid Night Shift Allowance at revised rates as per detail given below, with effect from 01.01.04.

6. Conveyance Reimbursement

7. TRANSPORT SUBSIDY

Transport Subsidy will be payable to all Executives at the revised rate of Rs.300/-p.m. w.e.f. 01.01.2004. However, the revised rate will be applicable only to those Executives who are not availing Corporation's transport in non-project areas. No transport subsidy shall be payable at Project Sites.
All other terms and conditions governing the above allowances as per existing rules of the corporation will remain unchanged.

             

8. MULTI PURPOSE ADVANCE

Existing Festival Advance Rules applicable to Executive on IDA scales of pay is renamed as “Multi Purpose Advance Rules”. The advance will be granted (interest free) @ one months' basic pay as on date of application, recoverable in not more than 12 equal monthly instalment.

             

9. LEAVE TRAVEL CONCESSION

Executives will be entitled to avail LTC in the Block of 2 years as under:-

(a) For self & family

10. RATE OF INTEREST ON HBA

The rate of interest subsidy on House Building Advance will be as under w.e.f. 1.4.2001.

Note: The revised rates of interest will also be applicable to past cases subject to
(i) Interest accrued on HBA upto 31.3.2001 will be calculated on pre-revised rates.
(ii) The revised rates of interest will be applicable on the outstanding principal amount of HBA as on 01.04.2000.

             

11. CANTEEN SUBSIDY/REIMBURSEMENT W.E.F. 01.01.2004

12. REIMBURSEMENT OF COST OF NEWSPAPER/MAGAZINES

The amount of reimbursement of the cost of Newspapers and magazines to the Executives is as under:- (with effect from 01.01.08).

13. CHILDREN EDUCATION ASSISTANCE

The present scheme of Children Education Assistance, tuition fee, reimbursement and hostel subsidy is replaced by the scheme Children Education Assistance.

REIMBURSEMENT OF CHILDREN'S EDUCATION EXPENDITURE

Reimbursement of Children Education Expenditure will be admissible at the rate of Rs.250/- per month per child, restricted to two children, subject to submission of undertaking. This will be admissible at all Projects/Power Stations/Corporate Office/Regional Offices & other units of the Corporation w.e.f. 2007-08 academic session.

 

HOSTEL SUBSIDY

Hostel Subsidy shall be payable at the rate of Rs.1500/- per month w.e.f. 2007-08 academic session per child, restricted to two children (staying in hostel at a place other than the place of posting of the Executives) of Executives posted in Project locations/Power Stations and subject to submission of application. This subsidy will not be admissible at places other than Projects/Power Stations i.e. Corporate Office/Regional Offices/Liaison Offices etc.

 

‘Hostel' means any Hostel of the Institution/privately run hostels or a rented accommodation where the student is staying for study purposes.

             

14. COMPUTER ADVANCE

Computer Advance is extended with effect from the date of issue of this order. Amount of advance for purchase of Personal Computer to Executive shall be limited to eighty percent(80%) of the actual cost of Personal Computer subject to a maximum of Rs.40000/-(Rupees forty thousand only). Terms and conditions for Computer Advance shall be circulated separately.

 

             

15. FURNITURE/HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ADVANCE

Household items Advance will be extended to all Executives at the following rates:-

E1 to E4 -

16. ADVANCE FOR PURCHASE OF CONVEYANCE

Advance for purchase of Conveyance for Executives in the grade of E6 and above will be entitled actual cost of Motor car or 90% of the cost of Maruti Zen, LX whichever is less and Executives of E3 to E5 will be entitled actual cost of Motor Car or 90% of cost of Maruti 800 cc Model whichever is less.

Other details and rate of interest will be circulated later on.

             

17. All other allowances/reimbursement not covered above will continue to be governed at the existing rate till further order.

             

18. CHCA/SCA/SDA/Project Allowance/Disturbed Area Allowance will continue to be paid, if applicable at par and in accordance with the GOI's order and as amended from time to time.

             

19. Notwithstanding anything contain above, the Management will have right to withdraw all or some of the above provisions without assigning any reason.

             
 
 
SUPERVISORS
 

The Management is pleased to revise certain allowances as indicated below in respect of Supervisors who are governed by IDA pay structures.

 

1. House Rent Allowance

House Rent Allowance will be payable w.e.f. 01.08.99, on revised pay, without ceiling, at the following rates.

14. House Building Advance

House Building Advance interest rates are revised w.e.f. 1.4.2001 as below:-

15. Conveyance Advance

Conveyance Advance is allowed for purchase of Scooter/Motor Cycle/Moped to enable them to perform effective official duties restricted to 90% of cost of “Hero Honda Joy” in respect of Scooter/Motorcycle and ‘Silver Plus' in respect of Moped or actual cost of such vehicle whichever is less.

 

16. Children Education Assistance
