The Pare Hydro Electric Project (2 x 55 MW) is planned as a R-o-R scheme on the Dikrong River downstream of the powerhouse of the first stage of the Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project in the Papumpare District of Arunachal Pradesh. This project is part of the Dikrong - Panyor Development Scheme located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. A concrete diversion dam of 78 m height is proposed to be constructed. The water from the reservoir thus created will be carried through a 2.81 Km long, 7.5 m dia modified horseshoe shaped Head Race tunnel for feeding 2 units of 55 MW each. CEA has accorded TEC to the project on 24-9-2007 , as per which the project will generate annually 506.42 MU of power. CCEA has cleared the Project for implementation on 06-11-2008 , with total cost of Rs. 574.00 Crs. (including IDC at June, 2007 Price Level) with 1st year & Levellised Tariff of Rs. 2.49 and Rs. 2.11 per unit respectively. Project is scheduled for commissioning in 44 months time from date of CCEA Clearance.

  • Height of Concrete Gravity Dam on Pare River = 78 m
  • Length of HRT (having 7.5 m dia. Modified Horse Shoe Shape Tunnel) =2.81 Km.
  • Surge Shaft (Restricted Orifice Type) having 15m dia and 58m depth and orifice diameter 3.0m.
  • Power House (surface): Size: 68 m x 23 m having 2 units of 55 MW each.

Techno- Commercial bid opened on 18.09.09. Techno-commercial bids evaluation completed. Concurrence of Kfw obtained. Price bid opened on 24.03.2010 and evaluation completed. Concurrence obtained from SNC-Lavalin and Concurrence from Kfw is awaited. Award of work is under process.

NIB floated on 24.02.2010. Techno-Commercial bid opened on 11.06.10 and evaluation is in progress.

Construction of  Rope Way Suspension Bridge (span: 120m)

06.01.2010

(LOI)

LOI for Ropeway suspension Bridge from Chiputa to Ross village has been issued on 06.01.2010 to M/S Tagar construction Agency. Completion time is 6 months from the date of issue of LOI. Progress is hampered severely due to heavy rain.

Construction Power

 

 

i)

Construction of 33 kv line

28.07.09

(W.O)

W.O for 33kv line placed on 28.07.09. Supply of all line materials for construction of 33 kv line completed. In principle approval of Forest clearance obtained from MOEF, Govt. of India, Shillong on 07.05.10. Matter is being pursued with the state Govt. for final clearance. Proposal for payment of NPV is under process and will be released shortly.

ii)

Construction of associated 11 kv line

30.03.2010

(W.O)

Detailed work order for associated 11 kv line at Dam and power house sites has been issued to M/s Tana Pekhi, Midpu village, Doimukh, AP on 30.03.10. Erection of the same is in progress.

iii)

Construction of 33/11 KV Sub- Station

 

LOI for construction of 33/11 KV Sub-station has been placed on 06.05.10. Construction drawings have already been approved.

iv)

Procurement of 2x250 KVA DG Set

19.02.2010

(W.O)

The W.O for procurement of 1(one) no each 250 & 125 KVA DG Set from OEM for power supply at Jampa and Sopo site has already been issued to M/s Surav Auto Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati on 19.02.2010. The materials has been delivered at site. Erection and commissioning of the same is completed on 31.05.2010.
